Community Support Fund

The Community Engagement Committee is pleased to announce a new Community Support Fund as part of HPCC’s ongoing commitment to giving back and building a lasting legacy in our community. As this is a new program, the initial amount of funding available is $15,000. Please keep this as a consideration when you apply, knowing that there will quite possibly be a number of applications. This program is aiming to support those who need it most, strengthen our local economy, and create a lasting positive impact that can continue well into the future.

The Community Support Fund has two categories:

  • Home or Property Improvement
  • Small Business Support

Our focus is on helping limited-income individuals, and small local businesses within the Harrop–Procter area. There will be one intake each year, with applications reviewed by the Community Engagement Committee. Decisions on which projects we will be able to support for the 2026 intake will be announced in early spring 2026 and successful applicants will need to provide proof of project completion in 2026. The project may be approved for full funding or partial funding.

This is an exciting pilot project, however there is a limited amount of funding available to support local residents and small businesses. We hope to make this an annual program so if you are not successful this year, please keep an eye out for future opportunities.

Examples of projects could include gutter repair/replacement, fence repair/replacement, a tool or equipment needed to launch or progress a business, repairs to a vehicle/machine needed in your business, etc.

Applications are now open for the Community Support Fund. The deadline to apply is January 31st, 2026.

Decisions about funding will be made in early 2026. For questions or additional information, please contact the HPCC Coordinator by email or phone.

Application Submissions: Please email coordinator@hpcommunityforest.org with your completed application form OR to arrange a time to drop off in person at the HPCC Office.
